Doc Watson, Santa Cruz, CA 10-27-88 (SBD)

Doc Watson. His given name was Arthe Lane Watson. He was born in Deep Gap North Carolina in 1923. He became blind at a very young age but grew up to become one of the greatest flat picker guitar players ever.  Doc Watson passed away in 2012 at the age of 89.  But his music and spirit lives on in recordings like this.  The sound quality is very good. Sitting in with Doc is Jack Lawrence. Hope you enjoy.
