Elvis Alternate Christmas

Christmas time is full of people trying to capitalize on the birth of Jesus. And some of it gets pretty cheesy. Take a look at the cover for this one. Need I say more. But some of the alternate takes of Elvis are kind of fun to hear. Jesus has always sold and packaged and commercialized and so was Elvis so the two together is a perfect fit I guess.

  1. Holy Moly AZ. This is some of my favorite Christmas music of all time. Seems like you've been reading my mail, if not my mind. Thanks so much for sharing this great Christmas blues. All the best to you, and very happiest of holidays.

  2. Hi AZ. One of the joys of growing older is the rediscovery of things forgotten. Five years is a very long time in the world of music appreciation. It's nice to be able to appreciate these all over again. Thanks, my friend,

  3. One more (last??) comment: the only important Elvis Christmas tune missing is "Here Comes Santa Claus" with it's definitive line: "Santa knows we're all God's Children, and that makes everything right." Kinda puts a bow on the whole proceeding, don't it?
