Wayne Shorter Quartet, 11-10-2006

I just posted a Weather Report show so why not one of the members that make them so great? So here is a show with Saxophonist Wayne Shorter. This is so fine I just can't even put it into words. The recording quality is amazing and the fluid playing is just astounding. I'm sure it won't be for everyone but if you like improvisation and jazz this might just make your day. Wayne Shorter is a legend and he holds up that level on this in my opinion. He played in Weather Report and with Miles Davis on some very influential recordings and is one of the greats. He is 73 years of age when this was recorded but that is just like fine aged wine when it comes to his ability and playing. The recording has some tracks with a radio DJ. When I put it on CD I left those off because it just interrupts the feeling of the music for me. I included the DJ chatter so you can decide on your own how you want to hear it.
