Someone requested some Jazz is Dead with Jeff Pevar. So here is the best example I could find. Early and late shows, more than three hours of music. And really remarkable recording quality.

ReplyDeleteDo you have Jerry and Merl June 4 1974 from San Anselmo? I do, but there are cuts in Dixie Down and I am trying to figure out whether it is that way on the original.
I don't think I have that. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteFound it here

It was me who requested it. Thanks Mr. Jones. You are the cat!
ReplyDeleteAnother request: it would be great a live recording of the Jazz Is Dead trio with Pevar, T Lavitz and Jerry Goodman. I know it's difficult, but you are my only hope, Mr. Jones.
ReplyDeleteBest, M.
I haven't seen that yet. I did find JID 2001 with Paul Barrere & Fred Tackett of Little Feat. Will post when I have the time.
ReplyDeleteThanks in advance, Mr. Jones. I am really enjoying a lot these JID recordings. They were really great. I got a recording of T Lavitz playing in a trio with Billy Cobham and bassist Jeff Berlin, but the sound is terrible, specially on the B side of the cassette tape.
ReplyDeleteWonder if you could re-up this one
