Jazz Is Dead with Paul Barrere & Fred Tackett, 3-23-2001

These photos are from the show at the Keswick Theater. This is another Jazz is Dead show but it has Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett from Little Feat opening and then playing with Jazz Is Dead. So I guess you could call this one Jazz Is Little Dead Feat, or something like that. Anyway it's pretty cool and has great sound quality as well.

  1. Thanks again, Mr. Jones. After listening all the JID recordings that you posted I can say that I preffer the ones with Jimmy Herring on guitar. But the ones with Pevar are also very enjoyables.
    Best, Barleyman

  2. Barlyman. I think the Jimmy H. is more dynamic too. I recieved requests for the Pevar and now we have both. I think Jimmy playing with Phil and Friends may have helped him get a better handle on the songs.
