.......... .. .. ........... "Once In A While You Get Shown The Light In The Strangest Of Places If You Look At It Right" :Robert Hunter

All of the music recordings on this site are recordings of independent origin (ROIOs) Music that has not been officially released. If you are an artist or a legal representative of an artist and you do not want your ROIO shared on my site for free among your fans (and creating new fans), just tell me in the comment area and I will remove them. By the way these recordings exist. They won't go away. All of them can be found at various places on line. Sharing just keeps the fans that support the artists from having to get ripped off by purchasing them on auction sites, and it also introduces music to people who would never have known the artist, creating a stronger fan base.

My Cousin Bill

My Cousin Bill. Bill knew how to enjoy life and in doing it he brought some of that joy with him to others. Bill still had some of that little kid in him and that made him fun to be around. There really was just not enough of Bill to go around, he could not be everywhere at the same time. The times I did get to spend with Bill I will always cherish. The backpack trip to the Sierra Nevadas, The Mountain Bike trip to Utah. I was lucky to have him all to myself on those trips and what a fun time. Life is too short, and it goes by fast. We can all learn something from Bill. He lived life with a sense of humor and with joy and kindness and life is too short to live it any other way. The world is a little less kind, and a little less joyful without Bill in it. I can choose now to let his loss drag me down or to remember him and celebrate him by bringing joy and humor to others I meet in honor of him. I'm so glad I was able to share some of his special time. Thanks Bill for blessing me.

  4. AZ I lost my cousin Jamie last June to a tragic motorcycle accident. He was my closest friend through out my childhood and teen years. In my adult life he also became a very close friend to my Rosebud. He was with me at my first ever concert and was with me through out my music career. When we lost him we thought the music had stopped forever. He lived his life the way he wanted and enjoyed every drop of life he could . I am now able to celebrate the times we had ad hold them dear. The grief is still there but is now tempered by the thought that he is able to watch me from above and know the secrets of the world in full. I will always miss him but these thoughts comfort me and bring a smile. I hope that in time you can do the same with you cousin Bill. Remember he will always be with you.
