All of the music recordings on this site are recordings of independent origin (ROIOs) Music that has not been officially released. If you are an artist or a legal representative of an artist and you do not want your ROIO shared on my site for free among your fans (and creating new fans), just tell me in the comment area and I will remove them. By the way these recordings exist. They won't go away. All of them can be found at various places on line. Sharing just keeps the fans that support the artists from having to get ripped off by purchasing them on auction sites, and it also introduces music to people who would never have known the artist, creating a stronger fan base.

I Wonder If You Know Him?

Do you know Him? He is the cornerstone, the foundation for many people. He is what holds up their lives and keeps them stable. Yet for others he is a stumbling block. He is the most noted figure of philosophy yet many don't want to hear what He really said. He is the most influential person of history and all time is measured by His appearance. Do you know Him? Or do you just know of Him? Listen to the way this man, S. M. Lockeridge, describes Him.

If you don't know Him, I mean really KNOW Him personally then. . . .well you might just be missing out on the biggest and most important thing that has ever or will ever come along. What do you have to loose?

Thanks for this AZ. I wasn't familiar with Shadrach Meshach Lockridge, but thanks be too God I Know his message and Him who he speaks about.
You question of "what do you have to loose?" made me think of the scripture in Matthews gospel that asks what would a man give in exchange for his soul?
Matthew 16:25 For whoever would save his life7 will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?
It is very important what we choose, would that many right now would think of Dylan's'statement "Gotta Serve Somebody" Let it be the Lord!, people.

  2. Chuck, I think of what Solomon said of earthly things, they are all just like grasping at the wind. Paul called his life of high position, and respect that he gave up just worthless trash. Nothing will have lasting value without the foundation of Chist to stand on. So what you have to loose you will find was nothing of true value, and what you gain is priceless.

So true, Jim Elliot said: "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose".

  4. Yes indeed. Herod couldn't kill him. But he did a real good job on all of those other sombody's precious little baby-childs. And all in the name of Christ (if that tells you anything).

  5. What are you talking about? Herod did NOTHING in the name of Christ. What a lame attempt. Anonymous you will know Him in the end, one way or another. You are like a child who denies his father is in charge of the house.

  6. Man continues to be corupt. Herrod was just more of what has always been and still is today. He is not the evidence against Christ but the reson that mankind needs Jesus. But as always, just as there was then, there is the spirit of anti Christ among us. Jesus, as fortold, will be a stumbling block for many.

  7. It was all sanctioned by the Lord God Almighty. God knew that satan would be going after all the newborns through King Herrod, so instead of correcting the problem at the source, He merely sent Jesus' family away. All the other children were summarily KILLED. In order to get to Jesus. I'd say that God had an awesome responsibility but he choked upon His own built-up indifference to mankind. He let all of those other somebody’s precious little baby-childs to be ruthlessly MURDERED without as much as a warning. And they WERE somebody’s precious children. You may believe on that. Sometimes things like that happen to a person and despite all of the biblical promises, they don't make it back. Does this mean anything to you, or do you suffer from the same case of pious indifference as God does?

“Where do murders go, man! Who’s to doom when the judge himself is called before the bar”?

  8. Oh brother. You are so blind on so many levels that it would take more time than I have to respond. First off, could it be that eternity with God is more important than mortal life? Duh!!!! All those poor babies getting to spend eternity in heaven with LOVE incarnate, what a tragedy that would be. That’s not indifference that’s perspective. Second God gives man free will. Man not God is responsable for what they do with it. Third, yes God could have intervened but it would have altered the results of so many things and only God has the ability to know what will result in the best overall outcome for all of mankind (not just the few your little mind can see in the picture). But then again maybe you, oh smart one have some insight that God does not. God has this to ask people like you. From Job 38-40 “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Now prepare yourself like a man; for I will question you and I will demand an answer from you. Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare it if you have such understanding.” “Who was it that determined the measurements of the earth? Surely you know!” “Does the hawk fly by your wisdom?” “Shall the one who contends with The Almighty correct Him? You, who rebuke God, answer it.” In other words, I created it all and am the author of knowledge and live outside of time and have seen the beginning and the end and you think you know more than Me?
So what is even your point? That God sucks and you want Him to leave you alone? Well He can do that, but I would not advise it. I have seen this same familiar anti-Christ spirit on this blog before. So you are back. Still don’t have a blog of your own to share your views and all that love you radiate? Still trying to find fault but offering nothing of value? Still tearing down what is good but offering no valuable alternative? Still calling me an ignorant piece of medium rare lamb? Oh give us all a break and take it somewhere else. Again, like I said last time, if you don't like the Christian content don’t read it. Is that so hard?
Nothing you have said detracts from the facts. Jesus came right at the prescribed time as prophesized. He healed the sick, gave eyesight to the blind, made the lame walk, walked on water, controlled the very storms, multiplied food, turned water to wine, and raised the dead. He fulfilled all that was written in advance of His coming. Was put to death and rose to walk alive among hundreds of those who saw Him die, and then ascended to heaven in front of a large crowd. He taught the most profound teachings the world has ever heard. He shook up the establishment and is still today a radical to the mainstream as ever. Religious types have tried to put Him in a box of their own making but just like the tomb he gets out and can’t be controlled. On Palm Sunday the people were calling Him king but a few days later they wanted Him crucified. Because they wanted a King that would free them from Roman rule, but He had a different plan (to free them from death, pride, fear, hate, bitterness, rebellion, resentment, greed, sin, guilt, and shame). So they turned on Him when He did not do their will. So today are you the same? You think He should behave and perform according to your idea of right and wrong according to your small little perspective and small thinking. When He can see the BIG picture and has so much more of a grand plan than you can even imagine. And so when he does not do your will you turn your back on Him. So you want to be God and decide right and wrong and how it should go. Sorry there is an inconvenient truth, that there is only one God and you are not it.

  9. I’m sorry that you don’t understand why there is suffering. I myself don’t understand why that child in my wife’s womb died or my nephew is autistic, why my father has been on his death bed for 18 month while my mother watches in prolonged suffering. But I need to have faith beyond my understanding. Sure Paul could have complained that he was in a jail cell sentenced to death but instead he found only joy in knowing he would soon be with God and he focused on bringing others that joy instead of being bitter about his circumstance. Being self absorbed does not get you anywhere but a pity party.
