.......... .. .. ........... "Once In A While You Get Shown The Light In The Strangest Of Places If You Look At It Right" :Robert Hunter

All of the music recordings on this site are recordings of independent origin (ROIOs) Music that has not been officially released. If you are an artist or a legal representative of an artist and you do not want your ROIO shared on my site for free among your fans (and creating new fans), just tell me in the comment area and I will remove them. By the way these recordings exist. They won't go away. All of them can be found at various places on line. Sharing just keeps the fans that support the artists from having to get ripped off by purchasing them on auction sites, and it also introduces music to people who would never have known the artist, creating a stronger fan base.

John Prine, 10-04-94

This one is a very good Soundboard recording of John Prine. If you like John Prine this is a must have. It has Bonnie Raitt as a guest but that is really as just a backup singer. I was kinda hoping for her to sing a verse or two, but the show stands alone as a great document of Jonh Prine's great songs.

  1. Thanks, my wife is a big JP fan. We saw him four or so years ago at wolftrap in the DC area, Chris Christoferson(sp?) joined in. Great show with the exception of Chris interjecting his liberal/left wing talking points. Just play the music!
Again, love your blog and the eclectic assortment of shows. Also love the photos, my wife is a photographer. Do you use flickr?

  2. No don't use flicker. Don't really consider myself a photographer. Just try to take photos of the beauty of Gods creation to remember a trip or event. Have an art backgorund so maybe that translates into the way I compose a shot by some lucky chance. My cameras have always been cheep too.
