Eric Clapton, Tokyo Japan, October 1993 (SBD)

This one is a really nice Eric Clapton recording, recorded over several nights at Tokyo's Budokan Theater.  It has a great mix of Clapton doing traditional blues like his "Cradle Music" stuff, and some of his classic rock, and a little of  the pop hits he received Grammys for.  It appears to be a Soundboard / PreFM  that was mixed for broadcast with a mix of soundboard with some crowd mics used to get that live ambience.  It was taken from some Mid Valley silvers.  This is a must for any Clapton fan

This is probably the best recording of the "From the Cradle" material that was not a commercial release.  For me this is Clapton at his best doing straight blues.  If you don't have this it is essential EC.

Eric Clapton, Budokan Theater, October 1993

This was recorded over several nights at Tokyo's Budokan Theater. It appears to be a soundboard, matrix (there is some audience). This has acoustic blues, electric blues, rock and pop all in one. Outside of disc twos first two songs I feel this is pretty hot. I really like the Stone Free, and the blues on disc one. Anyway just a continuation of the blues posts with just a few more to come and then back to other stuff.
